About This Article

This article how end users can manage their voicemail on the CCPro SmartPBX.

Voicemail from your PBX Phone

SmartPBX allows you to access and manage and configure your voicemail directly from your Physical Phone (eg Cisco, Poly), or from your Softphone (eg Bria) using the Feature Codes below.

Access Your Own Voicemail (*98)

Dial *98 to be connected to your own Voicemail only. This option will ask you to enter the password (if applicable)

You will then have a menu that allows to you listen to new messages, saved messages, or to change your settings.
Changing settings allows you to record greetings and set or change your voicemail password.

Access Any Voicemail (*97)

Dial *97 to be connected to Voicemail. This option will ask you to enter the mailbox number and thus allows you to access other voicemail boxes by entering the mailbox number and password (if applicable)

You will then have a menu that allows to you listen to new messages, saved messages, or to change your settings.
Changing settings allows you to record greetings and set or change your voicemail password.

By default, the voicemail password is the same as the mailbox number (which in turn is the same as your extension number). If you do not know your extension number, speak to your PBX administrator.

Note that if passwords are NOT set for a particular voicemail box, any user with an extension can listen to any voicemail if they have the mailbox number.

If a voicemail is left for you, CCPro SmartPBX will send you an email with the voicemail as an attachment, so you can listen to it there.

Voicemail via the SmartPBX User Portal

CCPro SmartPBX allows you to log into a User Portal and listen to your voicemails from there.
To do this visit https://portal.pbx.ccprosolutions.uk/
