Before You Start

You will need the following:

The exact model of your phone
The MAC address of the phone
The phone’s Admin password
 Access to a computer on the same network as the phone


Step 1: Create the Device in the CCPro SmartPBX

Log into https://portal.pbx.ccprosolutions.uk 

Go to Devices > Add Device

 Select SIP Phone

 Select Poly from the brand list

Pick the correct model from the list

Enter a name for the device, and its MAC address, and click “Create Device”

You will need to assign the device to a user, under Users > Devices

Once added, click on the Apps icon at the top of the page

Click on the Advanced Provisioner app

Locate your Poly phone, click the cog next to it, and select Unlock to unlock provisioning for this device.

Step 2: Factory Reset the Phone

To Factory Reset a Poly device:

Click on the Home or Menu button

Scroll across and select Settings

Select 2: Advanced (Password as supplied)

Select 1: Administration Settings

Select 5: Reset to Defaults

Select 5: Reset To Factory


Step 3: Obtain the Phone’s IP Address

In order to provision a Poly phone, you will first need to get its IP address in order to access the phone's web interface. 

To do so, click on the Home or Menu button. 
Then scroll across to "Settings". 

Select 4: Status

Select 2: Network 

Select 1: TCP/IP Parameters

The IP address should be the second line, for example: 10.10.9.88


Step 4: Load the Phone’s Admin User Interface

On a computer on the same network as the phone, in your browser now, enter the device’s IP address.

You should see something like this:

Select Admin and enter the password - the default is 456. If this fails try 2600

If these do not work, contact the CCPro Support Team.


Step 6: Provision the Device

Click on "Settings" in the top tab and then select "Provisioning Server." 

In "Server Type" dropdown, choose "HTTP".

In "Server Address," input the provisioning URL p3.zswitch.net. (Do not put the http:// in front of it). 
Please do not alter the “Server User,” “Server Password,” “File Transmit Tries,” or “Retry Wait.”

"Tag SN to UA" MUST be set to "Enable"

Save changes. The phone should reboot, if not then try manually rebooting the phone.
